Pico Tesorero shares its summit with the three provinces that make up the Picos de Europa National Park: Asturias, Cantabria and León. Its summit is easy to reach from the El Cable platform (upper station of the Fuente Dé cable car) and although it is a route of only 6 km, the journey to its summit is a real challenge due to its steep slope and the rugged terrain.
