VW Touareg 7L Inside Door Handle Replacement

Volkswagen, in their infinite wisdom, re-engineered over 2000 pats when refreshing the 7L, first generation Touareg for the 2007 (Europe) \ 2008 model year. And yet, they used the same stupid, flimsy, door handle that was tasked with pulling shut a door that seemingly weighs a ton, with two plastic tabs the size of peas (you'll see what I mean in the first shot of the video.). An original replacement part costs over US$100. Thankfully, the same part can be found on online shopping sites such as eBay or AliExpress, for a third of that price. Guess which route I went! I tried to show in this video the ridiculous steps needed to replace this part. It's not difficult, just unnecessarily tedious. Like many repairs on the Touareg. I hope you find this video useful. Stay tuned for my next unnecessarily tedious repair. - Music: Slide In [Official Audio] by Imperss is licensed under a Creative Commons License. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...
