What is the process for a bankruptcy like? Well, it starts with your consultation with the attorney and going over your options. At my office I like to break things down into four stages. The Game Plan, Post-Filing, Hearing, and Discharge. Each stages has its own process and it can vary form case to case, but most of the time these stages are pretty standard. These are the four stages of a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Things are a little different when it comes to a Chapter 13. Although some stages are the same, the length of time between the stages a vary.
