Black Letters: By The Time You Read These Words

When you think of the soldiers that laid down their lives in the first World War, what exactly were the lives that they laid down? What did they leave behind? Who were these "boy soldiers" fighting on the front? And what is left of them? Black Letters, a song from The Dreadnoughts' 2017 album Foreign Skies, takes a shot at presenting what was lost in The Great War, to the tune of a an excellent original song based on the words of an anonymous Canadian soldier.
