Olga Mieleszczuk: vocal, Daniel Hoffman: violin, Ittay Binnun: saz, Ofer Malchin: accordion, Yehonatan Levi: contrabass This album is inspired by the musical biography, narrative and repertoire of Mariam Nirenberg, a Jewish folk singer born in the Polesye borderland region of Poland, now Belarus. Mariam Nirenberg remembered from her teens: "When we got together we had a gramophone with a big horn. There was only one in our shtetl. We would dance {..} waltz, Charleston, tango, polka, foxtrot".
