Wreck diving in Narvik: S/S Romanby, ore freighter sunk during Second World War
The Romanby was originally an English ship, used for iron ore transports from Narvik. It was sunk in April 1940 by British destroyers entering the harbour and also taking out other freighters and several German destroyers. Romanby rests upright on the seabed in the harbour at 30 meters depth. A very nice dive.
