She felt alone and hopeless, and drifted away from God's purpose for her. She began to associate with people who were not of God, and thus entered a desert of pain and darkness. But she didn't know she had a powerful weapon by her side: her mother, who never stopped praying for her, even seeing what she was going through. Raquel Lima says that her mother always affirmed that she would have an encounter with God, and that it would be to live exactly as He wanted her to. And a mother on her knees praying for her daughter makes hell tremble. Then, at nineteen, she finally had an encounter with God, through professionals who helped her heal physically and spiritually.
