A major talking point: in 2015, Laljibhai bid ₹4.31 crore for PM Narendra Modi’s monogrammed suit, setting a Guinness World Record and donating the proceeds to the Clean Ganga Mission. On the social front, his "Save the Girl Child Mega Campaign" (Maha Laddu Beti Bachao Abhiyan) in 2006 rallied over 12 lakh people in a symbolic stand against female foeticide—a record entry in the Limca Book of Records.
