I was MISDIAGNOSED // After 5 years of "Chronic Migraine"

I was misdiagnosed! Or at least, UNDER-diagnosed. If I do have chronic migraine, it is not my biggest problem. After WAY too many years of chronic daily headaches, visual disturbances, and a pounding whoosh in my brain, I was diagnosed with Chronic Migraine with aura. Over time, my migraine attacks changed. I started having worrying neurological problems, which were coined "complex migraines," and tachycardia/OH/POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) with convulsive syncope, which was brushed off as anxiety. I continued to decline, my brain fog has worsened, and the illness clearly progressed. Something didn't quite feel right - I knew I must have a missed diagnosis. Over 5 years later, I have been diagnosed with part of the underlying cause for migraines. I can finally add a concrete diagnosis to the list.
