He has one and a half million H P and fills the role of a gatekeeper. He's quite hard to take down and as long as you don't beat him, you can't access any boss in the instance. Lakhara has several annoying skills. He will use Conqueror's Strike, an instant skill which deals damage on the target as well as reducing the effect of healing skills and items on it for 30 seconds. Since he uses this around every 15 seconds, you can expect your tank to always be under this debuff. For this fight, both your cleric and your chanter should be healing because of this. When Lakhara puts his 2 arms in the air and say "Face my wrath", it's time for everyone to run away. Shortly after that, he will do a 15-meters-AOE pull that will stun you for one second and follow it with 3 spinning smashes which deal massive damage and apply an undispelable DOT on anyone it hits. Your tank must run away before the AOE pull to avoid the spins. He can also use obstacles like the torches to break the line of sight. Note that after the boss raises his arms up in the air, he usually stands still, giving time to the tank to run away. But sometimes he will follow, so your tank must kite while staying away from the healers so they don't get pull in by mistake. Lakhara will use Seal of victory throughout the fight. It's a buff that increases his evasion by a lot for a 30 seconds duration, making physical classes DPS considerably lower. A spiritmaster is able to dispel this if you have one in your group. It's not uncommon that a sorcerer can get aggro in a group without a spiritmaster because of this. And the last threat of this boss happens when he's below 20% H P. He takes 3 seconds to cast "A Certain Doom" every twenty twenty five seconds, dealing around seventeen thousand damage to your tank when not mitigated. You can't evade it nor can you resist it. You won't need your cooldowns for a good 20 minutes after that, so use everything you have except for word of wind and your hour-long-cooldown defensive skils, you'll need it later. Now that you know his skills Begin by emptying the room of any mob so you have room to kite. Your tank should be standing still when Lakhara is just auto attacking, but should run to the other side of the room when he's about to AOE. Dear tank friends, think about your group when you kite. Don't get out of the healing range, don't get out of your range DPS range. Not only will this make the fight faster, it will also reduces the chance of someone readjusting their position because they're too far only to be pulled to their death.
