These units operate exactly like the big name expensive systems by a company that rhymes with "Bonos" It allows streaming from youy PC over wifi or eithernet, supports bluetooth for streaming from your phone directly, can be plugged into you compyter by USB and also has an aux input for those times that you just want to plug something in directly. Can operate as an independent system, or have multiple systems in the house playing the same or different sources and supports all the popular music streaming services.
