The Man at the Well

“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did.” How could that possibly be good news? Someone knows everything about you-every wound, every failure, every secret-and it is the best thing that ever happened to you? Because He stayed. Come and see. Sermon Questions 1. He crossed every barrier to reach her (vv. 1–9).What argument, distraction, or busyness keeps you from seeing the people God has placed before you? 2. The wells we drink from (vv. 10–15).Where are you looking for identity, security, or satisfaction apart from Christ? Has it truly satisfied? 3. He went to her deepest wound…and stayed (vv. 16–26).What area of your life do you avoid surrendering to Jesus? Where do you want comfort without correction? 4. He knew everything about her (vv. 17–18, 29).Do you live as though Jesus will be disappointed by what He finds, or as though He already knows and loves you?
