We’re back on site tackling a serious water issue with a textbook curtain drain installation. We're setting the slope to 1/16th per foot to ensure the water pitches correctly and runs out to daylight. After navigating some tricky electrical lines and pumping out the trench, we lay down the filter fabric, install the 4-inch perforated pipe, and backfill with clean stone to get the yard dried out for the homeowner. Once the drainage was flowing perfectly, we moved to landscape cleanup on the hill. We pulled stumps, feathered in fresh fill dirt, and shaped the slope to prep it for the homeowner’s new flower beds. The Kubota made quick work of the steep slopes—another site ready for the next phase.
