91yr old Teresa makes Liguria’s Rare Forgotten Pasta! | Pasta Grannies

At 91 years old, Teresa still prepares Sugeli exactly as it has been made for generations in the tiny mountain hamlet of Verdeggia, high in the Ligurian Maritime Alps near the French border. Born and raised in Verdeggia, Teresa shares with us one of the most authentic dishes of the region’s traditional Cucina Bianca: handmade pasta served with Bruss, a fermented ricotta once produced by local shepherds. A special thank you to the village of Verdeggia and the Pro Loco association for helping us with the organisation.
