The NOSFET XENO Is an Absolute Trail Weapon

NOSFET XENO + Shinko 244 = The Trail Setup I Didn’t Think Was Possible The Shinko 244 completely transformed the NOSFET XENO. I’ve ridden a lot of trails over the last six years, and I can honestly say this was one of the biggest changes I’ve ever felt from a tire swap. The way this setup rolls onto its edge through corners is just absurd. It isn’t twitchy—it just finds traction and holds it. I wasn’t even fully comfortable pushing it yet, but I could already feel how planted it wanted to be. Then you remember what it’s attached to… A wheel with one of the craziest power-to-weight ratios we’ve ever seen. It honestly felt like I was riding some kind of velociraptor with tiger claws tearing through the trail. The whole ride had me laughing and talking to myself because I couldn’t believe what I was experiencing. Throughout the video I go into detail about what I loved, what surprised me, and the one area that still stands out. For me, that’s pedal height. There was only one section of trail where the lower pedals became something I had to think about. Everywhere else I simply carried speed and kept flowing, but for riders who really want to push this wheel into aggressive trail riding and jumping, pedal height is still the biggest limitation of the platform. I’m genuinely excited to see what Grizzla comes up with for the XENO body kit, and I’m equally hopeful that E-RIDES develops a pedal-raising solution. If those two things happen, I think this platform becomes even more ridiculous than it already is. Battery life also surprised me. The XENO has consistently impressed me with its efficiency, but this ride absolutely chewed through battery. Whether that was the Shinko 244, the nonstop aggressive riding, or the combination of both, I managed to bring the battery down to around 40% much faster than I’ve become accustomed to. If maximum range is your priority, the stock street tire may still be the better option. But… If your goal is to carve trails with confidence and experience some of the best cornering feel I’ve ever had on an EUC, this setup is something special. I’m completely hooked. At this point, I genuinely don’t know if there’s a better trail wheel for the way I like to ride. What do you think? Would you sacrifice a little range for dramatically better off-road confidence? 👇 Let me know in the comments. ⸻ Affiliate Links 🛞 Next Gen Mobility (NOSFET & more) https://www.nextgenmobility.org/Johnn... 🦍 Grizzla Pads & Accessories https://grizzlapads.com/ Code: JohnnyGoVroom10 🛠️ E-RIDES Accessories https://e-rides.com/?ref=JohnnyGoVroom Code: JohnnyGoVroom 🎥 PIDZOOM Camera Gear https://pidzoom.com/ Code: JohnnyGoVroom 🪖 Vega Helmets https://www.vegahelmet.com/ 🎙️ Cardo Communication Systems https://cardosystems.com/discount/JOH...
