Frederiksborg Castle - 100 Danish Sights
Adventure number 23 on the list of 100 places worth visiting in Denmark. I went to Hillerød to see Frederiksborg Castle. It is beautiful on the outside, especially on a sunny day, with the reflections in the lake. It cost me 115kr to go in the castle. I spent at least an hour walking around, admiring the beautiful architecture - the church and the great hall are especially amazing! i wasn't so interested in all the old portraits, but the 3rd floor was more interesting, with more recent pictures that i could connect with. I highly recommend a visit, it's only 45 minutes on the S-train from Copenhagen Central Station. I got the poster of 100 Danish Sights from https://www.beenposter.dk/ - they also make one for Europe, and one for the whole world.
