This is the King Song S18, it is one of the first electric unicycle equipped with a suspension system. And In case if you are wondering why that may be good idea; I could think of a few good reasons. I just got this wheel and I am still acclimating to it, my review will come but this week. My initial impression and 5 reason why you would want the King Song S18. Not long ago electric unicycle use to look like this, or this. They were straight forward devices somewhat under powered by today’s standard but people loved them anyway and over the years both the motor and wheel size had grown and so have their capabilities. But the addition of an effective suspension system had been on the wish list of many EUC riders especially those with a bad knees for a long time. And it was finally realized through the revolutionary batch of suspension wheels released this year including this wheel. First shout out to Ewheel for sending me this pre-production unit for review, it is close but not 100% just yet. There are some rubbing of fenders and and looseness to the panels. All of which will be addressed in the production version according to King Song. And despite the fact that this particular demo had obviously seen some rough trails, none of it can take away from its striking design. And I still think that this is the best looking electric unicycle I have ever seen. And that bring us to Reason number one, design. NO no no, this is not going to do. I have done these nice pan shots for a few other wheels but considering how beat up this sample is not to mentioned the fact that it’s also a preproduction. Its quite the disservice to film it in its current condition but thanks to a local rider we can fix that.
