Zeekr Big Lap: Day 8 - Taree to Brisbane

Day 8 of the Zeekr Big Lap and we woke up at the Taree showground after an excellent sleep on the Coleman mattress. Set off just after 7am heading north. First charge of the day was at Macksville Evie where we got a tea in our new camping mug.  Then second charge was at Tynedale Evie, where we had a long chat with Rob in his stunning Audi e-Tron RS. Basically very similar power of about 500kW and also a 100kWh battery, but more than twice the cost. In Entered Queensland, third of five states, and cruised to the southern suburbs of Brisbane to visit the eLuimina global headquarters where I caught up with Dylan to get the latest on the roll-out of their remote chargers, including on the Northern Hwy in WA, the Nullarbor and highway to Alice Springs. Also got a free charge from their 250kW demonstration set-up, before booking a site at a nearby caravan park. Now heading off to have dinner with the Brisbane Zeekr owners.  Today we did 573km in 6 hours and 30 mins, getting efficiency of 20.5kWh/100km. Also just clocked over 3000km since leaving Kangaroo Island. Tomorrow we continue north!
