Patrimonio Románico de la Diócesis de Barbastro-Monzón. Monasterio de Santa María de Obarra

Obarra is said to have existed since the 8th century. In a small valley at the mouth of the Croqueta gorge stands, with absolute dignity, what is currently considered the church with the most beautiful apses of Lombard Romanesque architecture in Aragon. This is the fifth and—for now—final episode of the documentary series "Romanesque Heritage of the Diocese of Barbastro-Monzón," produced thanks to a collaboration agreement between the Ramón J. Sender Foundation-UNED Barbastro and the Diocese of Barbastro-Monzón. This series features a script and presentation by the Vicar General and Delegate for Heritage of the Diocese, Director of the Diocesan Museum, and art expert, Ángel Noguero, who was responsible for selecting the diocesan heritage featured in the documentaries. UNED Barbastro provided the technical resources, production, and direction, creating a product of the highest quality, both in content and in the chosen format, using 4K technology.
