Teaching Description: Yom Kippur, aka the Day of Atonement, is one of the seven annual Feasts, aside from the weekly Feast of the Sabbath, instructed by YeHoVaH/God for His people to celebrate at the appointed time. Questions abound about how this Feast Day in particular is to be observed because of the atoning sacrifice of Yeshua the Messiah. If Yeshua has paid the price for our sins with His blood sacrifice, as clearly revealed in the Bible, why should Believers in Yeshua observe this Feast at all? Is the Day of Atonement a day of mourning or a day of celebration? In this teaching, we will examine the Instructions given for the Day of Atonement and discover the purpose of Yom Kippur.
