You Should Get This Over The Sony FX5

Sony just dropped the FX5 and my whole feed is people telling you to buy it. I'm not — at least not yet. Here's why, and why you might not need it either. I'll be upfront: I do want the FX5, and I'll probably buy it next year once the firmware matures (it's missing a few things at launch, like 4K 120). But right now, my A7S III and my new FX2 cover everything my business needs — and for most creators, they'll cover yours too. In this one I break down: why I'm holding out (possible A7S IV / A7S III Mark II, waiting on real-world creator feedback), why the FX2 is a phenomenal second shooter and hybrid, and my exact FX2 settings — how I set up custom memory recall on a button, my 24/30/60fps presets at ISO 4000 (dual base 800/4000), and the 180° shutter rule that saves me time on every shoot. Plus the advice I wish I'd gotten early: don't buy gear until you've maxed out what you own. Learn your style and your niche first. Then build your camera setup around that — not the other way around. 👇 Are you buying the FX5, or holding out? Drop your current setup below and I'll tell you what I'd do.
