Qcon Pro X front panel install and firmware upgrade

In the first of a new series of 'Living with the Qcon Pro-X' I look at what is going on when you install the new firmware upgrade and the Qcon Pro X stops working properly. Chances are you have an original Pro X and you haven't upgraded the front panel. Step by step (links below) I take you through ordering the new panel, fitting it to your Pro X and how to successfully install the new firmware. Despite having a superb feature set and tough build quality, the Pro X suffers from a User Manual that is very light on useful guidance, some patchy support from Icon and a few quirks which I can live with. That said it is now such an integral part of my workflow I really wouldn't want to be without it.
