Is a backyard for dogs enough exercise? Today I am diving into the topic of a backyard for dogs. Herky and Milton always lived in a condo and it was our dream to offer them a backyard. In June of 2022, we moved in to a house with a backyard. How do the girls like it? At first they were excited but pretty quickly they became very nonchalant about their backyard. Almost like an extension of the house. This is why daily walks in new environments and exercise is essential to dog's mental health and physical health.
