Tecnica di corsa: esercizi con gli ostacoli

Second session on running technique with Alessia Baldini at ASICS FrontRunner. We worked on neuromuscular aspects using obstacles. Movement doesn't start from the muscle, but from the mind. Each of us, in a partially conscious process, mentally pictures the motor action we want to perform in a fraction of a second and then performs it. The central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) transmits the impulse to the peripheral nervous system and from there to the fiber, which can then contract. The goal of training must therefore be twofold: on the one hand, to optimize the quality of this "first master contraction" by focusing on neuromuscular aspects; on the other, to work on the metabolic aspects that will allow us to "maintain" the same contraction force for a longer period of time.
