No.16 Syracuse fell at home to Notre Dame, 38-24. After QB Garrett Shrader went down with an injury in the 3rd quarter and with the Orange down 24-7, backup Carlos Del Rio-Wilson helped cut the deficit to a touchdown. From there, two more Notre Dame touchdowns and a field goal left the gap too big to make up. RB Sean Tucker was limited to 60 rushing yards and a touchdown.
