Самый длинный трамвай России выходит на маршрут Екатеринбурга

A unique five-section tram, which has no analogues in Russia, has started running on route No. 18 in Yekaterinburg. This transport was developed and manufactured at the Ust-Katavsky plant and is capable of carrying more than 400 passengers at a time. The cabin has modern amenities: 72 seats, two specially equipped places for people with disabilities, a climate control system, video surveillance, as well as devices for charging mobile gadgets. The launch of the tram is associated with the major exhibition "Innoprom-2025" and is becoming part of a large-scale program to update city transport. In the coming years, the city plans to purchase new trams, trolleybuses and buses to make travel around Yekaterinburg even more comfortable and modern for all residents.
