Torturée, tuée, abandonnée… Qui était la petite martyre de l’A10 ?

On August 11, 1987, the lifeless body of a four-year-old girl, wrapped in a blood-stained blanket, was discovered on the side of the A10 motorway, near the village of Suèvres (Loir-et-Cher). Covered in bite marks, burns, and other signs of abuse, the little girl appeared to have lived a life of suffering. Thus began a monumental investigation to try to identify the body and find her family. A photograph was widely circulated, appeals for witnesses were broadcast on television, and every nursery school in France was visited. For three decades, investigators faced a series of false leads, disappointments, and periods of uncertainty. Finally, on June 12, 2018, a divorced couple from Morocco was arrested. They were the parents of Inass Touloub, murdered 31 years earlier. Presumed innocent, the parents are now awaiting their trial.
