Meet #Team 999: Ester Hooper, Hazardous Area Response Paramedic

Meet Ester, a Hazardous Area Response Paramedic and one of the faces of our new campaign to help people understand what actually happens when you call 999. Ester works as a specially trained paramedics called the Hazard Area Response Team (HART). In her work for the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) she is trained to enter the dangerous 'inner cordon' of an emergency; out of bounds to many of her colleagues.
