A German evaluating the COLONIA TOVAR: Does it really deserve the title GERMAN VILLAGE OF VENEZUELA?

The video a lot of Venezuelans have been waiting for! I checked out the German village of Venezuela. The Colonia Tovar is a German colony that has been founded in 1844 and as a German I of course had to visit this village to see how German this German Village of Venezuela really is! I've seen photos of the Colonia Tovar before and therefore already knew to expect a very typical southern German architecture in the village. But building houses that look alike like the ones in the south of Germany is easy, isn't it? Can a place so far away from Germany really resemble Germany after all those years? Does the food really taste like German food or is it just a nice try but not even close to real traditional German food? Honestly I had my doubts that a small village in the mountains of Venezuela could seriously have something really German...
