Vasu Bihar is an ancient Buddhist monastery. It is a monastery of the post-Gupta era. Two rectangular Buddhist monasteries and a temple have been discovered here. The excavation of this archaeological site was first started in 1973 to 1974 and the excavation work continued for two seasons. About 800 types of archaeological objects have been found here, such as bronze and clay Buddha statues, terracotta plaques, seal seals, clay lamps, patterned bricks, precious stone beads, iron bars, etc.
