Mudlarking the River Thames with Nicola White - and the story of my special gold and diamond ring!

Come with me today on a very hot Friday in June when I go to the Thames foreshore to meeting up with Simon Bourne of Si-Finds. We spend some time on the foreshore and then I take you off to some past outings on the river and show you what I've found. We meet up with jewellery designer and creator, Wendy Meister on the foreshore too. Wendy makes stunning bespoke jewellery often based on Thames mudlarking finds. She has made me a gold butterfly ring out of some gold rings which I found on the Thames foreshore over the years and she has brought it with her today me today to give it to me so it's a very exciting moment. I am fortunate enough to own some of Wendy's jewellery and it really is so special.
