A Word from Cardinal Dolan: One Nation Under God

One last point from Pope Leo’s letter to us: he talks about the reasons to thank God for the United States of America, and the last one he mentions is unity. We are a nation that has always tried to stay together. Diversity? You bet. Disagreement? You bet! Sometimes heated debate. But we always are one nation under God! That source of unity is one of the major reasons for the strength and vitality of the America for which we thank God as we continue to celebrate our 250th Anniversary. Thanks, Holy Father, for reminding us of those points!
