Ostwestfalen feiern den SC Paderborn

SC Paderborn 07 is back in the Bundesliga – and the city is celebrating this success together with thousands of fans. After their 2-1 victory in the relegation play-off second leg against VfL Wolfsburg on Monday evening, the team was welcomed in front of Paderborn's town hall on Tuesday evening. The town hall square was already filling up in the afternoon. The city and the club had anticipated 10,000 to 15,000 fans – in the end, around 13,500 people came to the big promotion celebration. The event was organized by the Office for Public Relations and City Marketing together with partners and SC Paderborn 07. The program started at 5 p.m. with a warm-up on the stage in front of the town hall. The team arrived at the town hall around 6:50 p.m. Before appearing on stage for the fans, the team first signed the city's Golden Book in the town hall's main hall. From 7 p.m. onwards, the celebrations continued in front of the town hall with the supporters.
