BLORP! Board Game Review | Weird, Wonderful Tile-Drafting Fun

In this video, I review BLORP!, the colorful tile-drafting game from Smirk & Dagger Games designed by Garth Kaufman. BLORP! is a puzzle-focused tile placement game where players draft tiles and build strange interconnected creations known as Blorps. Using red, green, and orange tiles, players attempt to grow their Blorps as large as possible while ensuring they are fully completed, since unfinished Blorps won't score at the end of the game. Special Trumpet Blorps can connect matching colors together, creating opportunities for even larger scoring groups. Each turn, players select one tile from a shared offering and add it to their personal play area. Scoring is based on the size of your completed Blorps, with your largest Blorp of each color earning bonus points. Additional points can be earned through special scoring opportunities and creating some of the largest Blorps at the table. BLORP! supports 2–6 players, is recommended for ages 10 and up, and plays in approximately 20–30 minutes. The game also includes BLORP BLITZ!, an alternate speed-play mode that turns the puzzle into a frantic race to complete your Blorp-o-Sphere before your opponents. With its unusual theme, colorful artwork, and approachable puzzle gameplay, BLORP! offers a light strategy experience that can appeal to both families and gamers looking for a quick tile-laying challenge. Whether you're interested in abstract puzzles, tile-placement games, or simply want to find out what all the BLORP! excitement is about, this review takes a look at what BLORP! brings to the table. 👍 Like the video, 🔔 subscribe for more board game reviews, unboxings, playthroughs, and tabletop gaming content!
