The Harvesters also known as the Reapers and simply as the aliens are an extraterrestrial race of sentient beings who are quite powerful and brutal since these beings only seek to attack different planets to wipe out all life that exists in this place, then subsequently the harvesters consume and collect all the resources of the planet, as well as the nucleus which helps them to have more fuel in their ships and to improve their technology. This is the reason why the harvesters or the harvesters are considered the main monstrous villains and antagonists of the Independence Day saga which is a very popular film franchise which was created by the talented screenwriter Dean Delvin, by the renowned director Roland Emerich and by the 20th Century Fox studios. The Harvesters first appeared in the 1996 film titled Independence Day or Independence Day and also appear in the 2016 sequel titled Independence Day Resurgence or Independence Day Counterattack.
