Wanted to share with you guys this legendary 5th scale gas buggy ! The Losi TLR (TEAM LOSI RACING) 5IVE-B Buggy. It comes as a 1/5-scale kit mainly for racers looking to take it to the track! According to Losi "It has been designed from the ground up to the exacting standards of TLR engineering and includes a feature set you simply won't find in anything else like it." "Unlike most so-called 1/5-scale racing buggies, this one comes with a chassis specifically engineered for competition. Inspired by the legendary TLR 8IGHT platform, it is machined from hard-anodized, 5mm 6061-T6 aluminum and features a shorter wheel base for better handling. It also has milled pockets that save weight and allow enough flex for maximum traction under hard acceleration" This is what Losi had to say, but what i can tell you from my experience is that this rc gas buggy is one of the best handling 1/5 scale rc cars I've driven. It is an absolute tank that can take a serious beating whether bashing or on the track! Normally track built rc cars are fragile when it comes to bashing on non track prepped terrain. This Buggy seems to handle anything you throw its way. Such a shame that it's discontinued. I really do wish RC fans still had the option to purchase this kit because i feel people are missing out on a savage beast! It feels so nimble and light not like a standard 5th scale at all!
