Wanderlight Trail, Minnesota Zoo - Apple Valley, MN

We checked out the new Wanderlight Trail at the Minnesota Zoo. This event takes place after the zoo has closed for the evening. After checking in and getting your wrist band, you head outside to find a DJ and a dance party, and food, and beverages (additional purchase). We tried one of their cocktails in the light up souvenir glass ($14.99 + tax) and made our way to the trail. The Wanderlight Trail utilizes the same trail as the Pumpkin Trail (toward the back of the zoo). Once you get into the actual trail, you're met with large and beautifully lit animals in various habitats. The trail is beautiful and we had a fabulous time. The Wanderlight Trail takes place Wednesday-Sunday until August 2nd.
