BMW E23 Restoration Update – From Rust Bucket to Showroom Dream

In this episode, I’m giving a full update on the BMW E23 restoration and showing everything that has been done so far. The interior has been stripped and cleaned, but the carpet still needs to come out so I can properly inspect the floor for rust, previous repairs and hidden damage. The engine is still fitted in the other BMW, with the cylinder head already removed and sent for work. I have not yet opened or cleaned the engine block, as I plan to inspect it properly once the complete engine is out of the car. I also walk around the body, engine bay and interior to identify the small jobs that must be completed before paint and reassembly.
