AuDHd and being curious?

🌈 A little observation I’ve made over the years… don’t shoot me down…. Just a talking point One thing I’ve noticed is that whenever I go to Pride events, human rights marches, or protests, I seem to meet a huge number of neurodivergent people. Obviously, this isn’t true for everyone, and I’m not saying neurotypical people don’t care deeply about these issues—they absolutely do. This is simply a pattern I’ve personally noticed. Here I use the example of two sets of twins. Imagine one set is neurotypical and one set is neurodivergent. A neurotypical child might be more likely to accept a social rule because “that’s just the way things are.” A neurodivergent child, however, might ask: “But why?” “Who decided that?” “Is that actually fair?” Many neurodivergent people seem to have a natural tendency to question social norms, challenge assumptions, and think outside the boxes society creates. That doesn’t make anyone better or worse—it just means our brains often approach the world differently. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons so many of us find ourselves in spaces that celebrate inclusion, equality, authenticity and human rights. I’d love to know your thoughts.
