GIRONA y los pueblos medievales del Empordà 🇪🇸 | Historia, piedra y calma

In this second video of our 2026 Spain road trip, we leave Barcelona behind to discover Girona and some of the most beautiful medieval villages in the Empordà region of Catalonia. 🇪🇸 Girona captivated us with its streets steeped in history, the Onyar River and its famous colorful houses, the impressive Cathedral of Santa Maria, the old Jewish quarter, and the medieval walls at sunset. On our second day, we explored three charming villages in the Empordà: Pals, Peratallada, and Monells. Places of stone, quiet alleyways, and medieval squares where we decided to stroll leisurely, enjoying the trip in a much more relaxed and mindful way. We finished by saying goodbye to Girona under a gentle drizzle that made this city, which we enjoyed so much, even more special.
