River Club Car Wash: SR70 in Bradenton Site (Outside Perspective)

This high volume express site opened in February of 2015, and is the first River Club site to open in Florida. This car wash was acquired by the current owner after the original owner sold it before construction was almost completed. The tunnel consists of a conveyor with a length of 75’ along with Tommy and AVW equipment. Equipment includes a Multi-Washer Module XL, XL Mitter Curtain Module, Reverse Hugger Side Washers, Tire Gloss Applicator, AVW blower system, and various Tommy arches. If you are wondering to yourself, yes this is the same Tommy tunnel Car Wash Studios filmed on opening day. Nothing much has really changed since then, with the exception of the Carlite foam replacement on the reverse huggers, new Microfiber cloth on the 1st mitter curtain, and the increase of wash prices. Unfortunately, the Tommy Voice Commander didn’t work due to wires coming loose, which is why you don’t hear it when our car pulled into the wash tunnel. River Club Car Wash is currently using Turtle Wax Pro chemicals for all off their tunnels. The wash we purchased was the works wash which costed $17 (formerly $15). Wash quality was quite good, though the rinsing wasn’t able to rinse off the roof well. You can tell by the soap that is visible on the roof near the back just as the car enters the dryers. Drying results were decent, but the car came out a little wet. Overall, River Club Car Wash is an extremely well-ran facility with very nice staff, and I’m excited to visit their newest site in Sarasota which will open in July.
