Early Pier Fishing (Newport Beach, CA)

2/7/26 Balboa Pier Here is my first serious fishing vlog. This one is for the patient viewer, as I was editing this, I realized there isn’t much happening lol but I promise next video will be much better ! Also my apologies for the darkness in the beginning. One more apology for my hoodie string always being in the way, won’t happen next time lol Did some very early morning with a buddy of mine on the Pier named frank, he is known to a lot of people who fish this pier. Lately he’s been showing me the ropes for mackerel fishing, kind of taking me under his wing… I appreciate everything he’s been teaching me. He also inspired me to start making my own sabiki rigs which I have been doing. You’ll see more videos soon as we plan to fish Catalina together for bonita. Anyway hope you enjoy this video !
