Tiguan MK1 - Rear brakes dragging? They need service! A Quick DIY - Episode #17
Episode #17 of the Tiguan MK1 saga. Rear brakes were dragging, so it was time for a service operation. This should really be something you do every 2 year approximately, depending on how you use your vehicle. This video shows how to remove caliper and pads, and perform a basic clean-up, checkup and lubrification. You will need the following: 17mm wrench/deep bit (wheel lug nuts) 13mm wrench (caliper bolts) Scanner to retract the pistons and enter service mode Lubricant Wire brush ideally or metal brush.
