Trip to Inner Mongolia | Mid-Autumn Festival Break As an exchange student at Beijing Normal University, I took advantage of the Mid-Autumn Festival break in 2024 to explore Inner Mongolia. With school closed for the holidays, a group of students and tourists from different universities across China joined a trip organized by FCN Laowai travel agency. We spent our days horse riding 🐎 across the grasslands, visiting the Wulanhada Volcano Geopark 🌋, and hiking through the Kubuqi Desert 🏜️. One of the highlights was trying traditional lamb hotpot 🍲—a must-try in Inner Mongolia. It was an amazing way to experience a completely different side of China, meet new people, and take in the stunning landscapes.
