Lurín: incendio de grandes proporciones consume fábrica de insumos químicos (1/2)

A massive fire is consuming a chemical plant located at kilometer 40 of the Pan-American Highway South, in the district of Lurín. More than 20 fire units are responding to the emergency, which began around 6:30 a.m. The column of black smoke can be seen from several meters away. INDUSTRIAL ZONE The incident is occurring in an industrial zone, and several companies, due to the enormous blaze, sent their workers home to avoid any potential risks. Despite the tremendous efforts of the firefighters, the situation is at times becoming uncontrollable. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
