Bread fertilizer slightly acidifies the soil, so if you're applying it to clematis, for example, be sure to work the ash into the soil frequently. This bread fertilizer can be applied to plants on average once every 10 days. After applying bread fertilizer, plants literally come alive. Bread fertilizer treatment gives a good boost to the development of a strong root system. Fruit begins to form and grow faster, and their flavor improves significantly. ASH FERTILIZER Ash is highly nutritious and contains the entire periodic table except nitrogen. Therefore, we simply must use ash as a fertilizer for our plants. The only thing to remember is that ash removes acidity from the soil, so it should not be used to feed plants that require acidic soil: hydrangeas, heathers, rhododendrons, azaleas, blueberries, and other plants. To prepare an ash fertilizer, take 1/3 of a bucket of ash, add warm water (you can preheat it), and leave it in a warm place for several days or even a week. Then strain it and water the roots of your plants at a ratio of 1:10 or apply it to the foliage at a ratio of 1:20. There's also a quicker recipe for an ash infusion: add 1 cup of ash to a bucket of water and let it steep for 3-5 hours. MANURE FERTILIZER Take 1 part manure and add 10 parts water, cover, and let it steep for a week (or a little longer). During this time, the manure will begin to ferment, so stir it periodically. Then, take the prepared mother liquor and dilute it again with water at a ratio of 1:10 for root feeding and 1:20 for foliar feeding. Yes, you can also apply it to the foliage, as this infusion is not only a storehouse of nutrients but also protects plants from diseases and pests. Chicken manure should be diluted slightly. We dilute the original raw material with water for infusion at a ratio of 1:20. HERBAL FEEDING If you don't have manure and can't buy it, then mown grass and weeds are always available. Take 1/3 of the grass (preferably chopped; mown grass is perfect), fill to the top with water, and let it ferment for a week. During this time, remember to stir the infusion periodically. Then strain and dilute it 1:2 or 1:3 for root feeding, and 1:4 or 1:5 for foliar feeding. PINE FEEDING Thuja needles (and not just those of thuja, spruce, pine, and all conifers) are a very valuable resource from which you can extract maximum benefit. However, it's important to remember that they can only be fed to plants that enjoy sour foods. Preparation is similar to making a herbal tincture. Pine needle infusion has long been known as a bactericide and disinfectant. It can be used to prevent diseases and fungal infections. To do this, dilute the prepared infusion in a ratio of 1:4 and apply to your plants. MAGIC ORGANIC COCKTAIL FOR PLANT SPRAYS Homemade plant food recipe: per 1 bucket of water: 1/3 bucket of chopped grass (nettles, dandelions, or any weeds). 500 g of mullein (chicken manure, compost, humus—whatever you have will do); dry granular fertilizer can also be used. 1 cup of ash (sunflower ash is especially effective, but any ash will do); 100 g of yeast (preferably fresh) or just use a loaf of bread. 1 cup of whey or milk (you can substitute yogurt, kefir, or any dairy or fermented milk product). Place everything in a container, add water, stir, leave covered for a week or two, and your magical fertilizer is ready! Use the cocktail the same way as any organic infusions or decoctions. That is, dilute in a ratio of 1 to 10.
