Beautiful autumn day with NJT diesels, Heritage Geeps, Football trains, and eating my words. 10/9/25

It’s a gorgeous Autumn day as we catch a few trains at Hoboken including the NJDOT and Erie heritage engines. We heart Ho-ho-kus for 2 hours of action seeing a variety of NJT diesels, thence we journey to Plauderville on the Bergen County Line for 2 more hours of action. We see locals and some fast express trains. We finish at Secaucus catching Philadelphia Eagles football specials and more commuter trains with a special appearance by the Conrail heritage locomotive. The football game outcome did not turn out to my liking. I later headed back to NYC for dinner after already eating my own words. 🤣🤣🤣
