Tool The Patient bass cover - Ibanez BTB 605 ms
And we're back with some Tool. This seems an easy one, but there are some very nasty parts in it. Difficult parts: 2:21 - 3:04 (timing) 4:20 - 4:39 (this riff starts to deviate in an odd rhythm, a rather easy one at that, but then it changes suddenly to the harmonic part) 6:34 onwards (ending is always a little bit of a challenge with Tool, but here, the timing is very subtle) Effects used: 0:11 - 0:55 wah, reverb and phaser 4:30 - 4:39 pitch shifter and reverb. As you may notice, I couldn't get rid of the tremelo/vibrato side effect of the pitch shift, but it doesn't bother me too much. For the remainder of the song: a bass amp plugin, noisegate and EQ Conclusion: this is a very enjoyable song for me to play. Some challenges but none too difficult. I don't like to fiddle that much on my volume knob at the beginning of the video. Material used: Ibanez BTB 605 ms (multiscale) DAW: Garageband Interface: Behringer U-phoria 404 Video-editing: Capcut Filmed with Samsung Galaxy A34 Pedal: G1X four by Zoom (multi effects)
