Soundproof Door Test | Using the Producer's Choice Door Blanket
The attic studio build is done... but the door is not soundproof yet. In this video, I will test out a couple of products to see if I can, in fact, soundproof the doors to the studio. The first product and the most effective is from VocalBoothToGo.com, called the Noise Control Door Cover Producer’s Choice (38″x90″). It's a dense blanket that hangs over the door. The second product is from Audimute and is a couple rolls of foam that go around the door jam and seal up any gaps to prevent sound waves from getting through. Overall, I am pleased with the results. Using these products, I was able to reduce the sound by about 15db, which is significant. In the end, there is no way to 100% sound proof this room, but the door is drastically better. https://www.vocalboothtogo.com/produc... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...
