Bigkik - Uprising loops (Roland S-1 / J-6 / T-8)

First of all I had the idea for the 1st 8-notes loop that runs the entire track. Tip : you can record yourself "singing" the notes with your phone if you don't have an instrument at hand. I took the S-1 and started to compose, adding a bassline to the 1st loop. Then, why not add an arpeggio ? At this point, I was happy with the melodic components but not sonically. Although technically the S-1 can manage sustained and 1/16th notes at the same time thanks to its sequencer, it did not sound good. So it was obvious I needed the other compacts : the T-8 plays the 8-notes loop and the drums, the J-6 plays the pads, the S-1 plays the arpeggio from the J-6 notes (same midi channel) so no need to program the sequencer. The T-8 is midi master followed in this order by the J-6 and the S-1. I used 2 patterns on the J-6. Original composition by Bigkik Played and recorded live with my phone and "Open camera" app. Audio signal routed without post-processing through a Behringer UCA-222 USB audio interface.
